In summary, I definitely do not recommend you have anything done at this repair shop. They are hideously slow, non-communicative, and do shoddy work. Avoid!
I had an engine replaced in my Subaru at this repair shop. First, they told me the repair would take about 2 weeks, but instead it took over one month. When something was supposed to be done on a certain day, (like receiving the engine, etc), I received no updates as to the status of the repair for days later unless I called to annoy them. Even a "Hey, this happened, so it'll be a few more days" would have been nice. Since getting the car back 3 days ago, it has now failed to start 3 times. Twice for the battery terminals being loose (both terminals), and a third for what sounds like the starter being loose.
They do have a part time mechanic, but you need to call for an appointment.
